May 23 - June 1, 2025Your choir is invited to lend your voices to the Voices of Faith Chorus as we perform in Austria in 2025! Choir members will unite in sharing their faith through the inspiring music of acclaimed American composer and conductor Dan Goeller alongside internationally renowned pianist and composer Jan Mulder.
About the Chorus
Join singers from around the globe in Austria for “Voices of Faith,” an unforgettable choral experience. Imagine the thrill of performing in two of the world’s most iconic cathedrals—St. Stephen’s Cathedral in Vienna and Salzburg Cathedral—accompanied by a full professional orchestra. Choir members will unite in sharing their faith through the inspiring music of acclaimed American composer and conductor Dan Goeller, including the European Premiere of In His Own Words, alongside internationally renowned pianist and composer Jan Mulder.
This epic, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity will elevate both performers and audiences alike with powerful, uplifting music. The repertoire includes Ralph Vaughan Williams’ rousing “Let All the World in Every Corner Sing,” followed by Dan Goeller’s sacred collection In His Own Words, which thematically draws on the words of Christ through “I am” phrases such as “I am the Way” and “I am the Light.” Jan Mulder’s inspirational artistry will fill these sacred spaces with masterpieces like Schubert’s Sanctus, Sibelius’ Be Still My Soul, and Beethoven’s Joyful, Joyful, We Adore Thee, lifting hearts and souls heavenward in a transcendent musical celebration.
This “Voices of Faith” choral festival is produced and managed by Music Celebrations International, internationally renowned for organizing hundreds of music festivals, music events and concert tours in spectacular venues around the world with packed house audiences.
St. Stephen’s Cathedral
St. Stephen’s Cathedral is a massive Romanesque-Gothic style cathedral built in 1147 and is home of the Archdiocese of Vienna. A distinct feature of the cathedral is its unique mosaic tile roof and prominant 136 meter tall tower that attracts visitors worldwide. Its resonant interior space is ideal for choirs performing for visitors in a concert setting. It is home of the largest church bell in AUstria weighing 23,500 kg. Beethoven discovered his deafness here after seeing, but not hearing the tolling bells.
Salzburg Dom
The Salzburg Cathedral – in German, the Salzburger Dom – is a 17th century baroque cathedral dedicated to Saint Rupert of Salzburg. Among the precious objects to be found in Salzburg’s Cathedral are the baptismal font in which Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was baptized, the majestic main organ, surrounded by angels playing instruments and crowned by Rupert and Virgil, as well as the magnificent Cathedral portals made by Scheider-Manzell, Mataré and Manzú.
